O que é o Delta no mercado de opções?
O Delta é um dos principais “gregos” das opções, representando a sensibilidade do preço da opção em relação à variação do ativo-objeto.
Em termos simples, o Delta indica quanto o preço da opção tende a variar quando o preço da ação se move R$1.
Por exemplo:
- Se o Delta for 0,50 e a ação subir R$1, a opção deve subir R$0,50.
O Delta pode variar entre -1 e 1, sendo que:
- Call (opção de compra) → Delta positivo (entre 0 e 1).
- Put (opção de venda) → Delta negativo (entre -1 e 0).
Como o Delta influencia nas operações
Nas calls, quanto mais o Delta se aproxima de 1, maior é a sensibilidade da opção ao movimento do ativo. Isso significa que a opção se comporta de forma muito semelhante à ação, o que costuma ser vantajoso em estratégias de valorização.
Já nas puts, ocorre o contrário. Quanto mais próximo de -1, mais sensível é a opção à queda do ativo.
- Exemplo: se uma put tem Delta -1 e o ativo cai R$1, a opção sobe R$1.
- Caso o ativo suba, a opção desvaloriza na mesma proporção.
Essa relação direta é fundamental para quem busca montar estratégias de hedge, especulação ou geração de renda no mercado de derivativos.
